I think the cold and the snow of late have scared off all the weekend warriors. I practically had the place to myself this day! And of course the snow made everything shiny and fresh and lovely.
This is a great little hike, not far from the city, good length for little legs with some adventurous stretches mixed in to keep them distracted and entertained. It doesn't attract as many hikers as it's big brother, Mt. Si, but the views are still lovely. There are several distinctive sections of forest, my favorite being the long, dark valley that skirts around the base of Little Si's summit. It's super mysterious.
