Bridal Veil Falls

The forest proposed to me on the trail to Bridal Veil Falls! Found this little gem smashed into the trail right before the main path breaks off to this amazing waterfall. I'm taking that as a very clear sign that I am heading in the right direction these days. It's a difficult path, but it's always easier when I'm moving in nature.

This is a very popular trail, with very good reason. It's well maintained through a beautiful forest to an amazing waterfall and sneak views of the Skykomish River valley.

It's about two miles from the parking lot, and only the last half was super strenuous. Even then, the promising sounds of the falls and the rocky trail were distracting and motivating. Once you arrive there are lots of lovely spots to stop for snacks and get up close to a breathtaking sight. Keep the kiddos close though, this is only the upper falls, and the lower are just a mis-step away.

Plus the spray was delightful on a hot summer day.
